Taylorian Productions invited you to join Dick Whittington and his magical cat Mandy at the fabulous Gaiety Theatre as he sought fame and fortune in a fast moving spectacular adventure – helped along the way by a deliciously camp Fairy Bridge and confronted by the formidable Queen Longtail of Laxey.

Dick lost his heart to the beautiful Alice Fitzwarren and created havoc with the hilarious Idle Jack and their mother Lady Fitzwarren.

Dick Whittington is part of pantomime folklore and whilst we maintained that tradition and preserved its essential spirit, we also propelled it into the contemporary world. In a fun-packed family experience crammed with comedy, song, dance and adventure, Dick Whittington proved that Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without pantomime at The Gaiety.
